Fibromyalgia- The Benefits Of Vitamins For Fibromyalgia

Copyright (c) 2008 Hailey Harris

Fibromyalgia is a disorder where patients suffer from chronic muscle pain and tactile allodynia. In severe cases, allodynia becomes so serious that even being touched by the clothes the patient is wearing causes pain.

This disorder also causes 'tender joints', or in other words pain on tender points on the body which includes the neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms or legs. These parts hurt when they are even touched tenderly. Fibromyalgia also makes the patients suffer from fatigue, sleeping disorders, morning stiffness, severe headaches and sometimes neuropsychiatric problems which include cognitive dysfunction, depressive symptoms and anxiety.

The causes of Fibromyalgia are not known, though study has attributed a number of things to be associated with this disorder to some extent of naming them as possible causes. These include stress, Serotonin, Dopamine abnormality and genetics among others. This disorder can affect anyone though it's more common in middle-aged women.

Though much study has been done since early 19th century, nothing has been found that can cure Fibromyalgia effectively. The doctors and scientists however suggest certain medicines that can help the patients by reducing the pain. The patients are also advised to get enough sleep and keep to some regular exercises.

But as the studies go on, it has been seen that diet patterns have a big role to play in bringing positive changes to the patients. For example patients suffering from Fibromyalgia have shown wonderful results with vitamins and supplements. Patients suffering from Fibromyalgia are anxious to know if they can be healed from this wrecking disease. It is good if they can remain as positive as possible. Their level of wellness in many aspects of their lives helps reduce their pain and prepare the body for a good healing process.

Vitamins helps one to have this state of mind and sound body by helping the body to have a natural balance by keeping the cell count to the required level at all times.

When people feel pain, they always think of taking a pain killer that can quickly relieve their pain. But this is not an affective way of eradicating the pain suffered by Fibromyalgia patients. The most effective way to treat them is by the use of vitamins and supplements. A pain killer or such kind of a pill will only give you temporary relieve. They will only cheat you that you are well, but it's not the case. But by using vitamins, the body is always kept healthy. Vitamins help the white blood cells which fight diseases in our bodies. Once the cellular level is maintained, the body is ready to fight any attacks and the body can get ready for healing.

Vitamins are available in most of the foods that we eat especially the vegetables and fruits. But since Fibromyalgia is a disorder that needs special attention, it is important for patients to know which types of vitamins are good for them and which one will bring the desired results fast with long time effect. If you are Fibromyalgia sufferer, you should think of getting professional counseling on this, no matter what the cost.

As for the supplements, there are many of them available in the market. But some of these supplements do not work so well with Fibromyalgia sufferers. And so, it is imperative to know which supplements won't have side effects on their bodies and which ones will. This information can only be found by asking experts who have been dealing with the disorder. Apart from the usual benefit of maintaining the cellular levels, vitamins and supplements also help in reducing the joint and muscle pain, reducing fatigue, boosting energy levels, improving the relaxation ability and reducing headaches among other benefits.

In nutshell, when a Fibromyalgia sufferer takes vitamins and combines them with supplements and starts practicing lifestyle change, he or she can get very good, positive results. Chemical compositions should not be used, which only give you cover up effect and later the problem recurs. Recently, scientists have come up with some medicines which work well with Fibromyalgia sufferers, but before you lay you hands on these medicines, try vitamins, the result can be amazing.

Cruciate Ligament Knee Supports - Braces To Help You Avoid Surgery - Support Weak Knees

Are you tired of your knee pain?

Are you tired of your knee instability?

Let's hope you do not have both of these issues. However, if you have to currently worry about either one, do not worry.... The information here can really help you move in a new direction. It will help you move toward more knee stability and more knee pain relief.

Everyone who has knee difficulties has options. For a second, think about your knee issues. We want to present a couple important questions to you....

1.) How bad is your knee pain on a routine basis? Rate it on a scale 1-10 (Ten is the worst)

2.) How severe is your knee instability on a regular basis? Rate it on a scale 1-10 (Again, ten is the worst)

Rest

A little R & R can go a long way, right?

Sometimes rest will take care of nominal knee pain problems. - It has its place.

Rest and some ice can get you through some minor aches and pains. But if you stop for a second and think about it, do you ever wondered if you have enough time to rest your knees to help you treat the main source of your knee pain problems? With our active lifestyles these days, many people do not have the time to rest like we used to.... This can be a huge problem.

Surgery

It is possible that a surgical procedure can be the answer to your knee pain and instability in the long run, but who is jumping at the chance to have an operation though? Are you? - Surgery definitely has its place, and sometimes it is the only answer, but it can be costly. It can be costly not only for your wallet but for your mandatory recovery time that is required afterwards.

Knee Braces

One of the very best ways to take your knee stability to the next level, and to do it quickly is to use a well designed knee support. Not only will a knee brace give you extra support, but it can also greatly help in the reduction in knee pain problems.

Many sport enthusiasts have mentioned how their knee supports can decrease their knee discomfort and improve their stability. Not only that, it also gives them the confidence they need to perform activities as well. They feel as though they have improved mental security too. This benefit alone can be one of the biggest reasons why people like their knee brace.

While your physician's advice should never be neglected, a well designed knee support can also be of great aid to people with knee problems. If you believe that you can benefit from pain relief and increased physical and mental stability (with respect to your knees) then you should consider a knee brace today

How To Overcome A Sore Stiff Knee - The Lazy Man's Guide To Dealing With The Pain - Special Report

Do you have soreness or stiffness in your knees?

Hey, hopefully you are reading this article as a way to help out your friend who has knee pain, but chances are you are the one with the problem; right?

The issue we are all faced with is that rest does not always cut it. People can not just wish for their knee pain problems to always go away just with rest. They are generally signs of an undying condition or are a sign that you have over exerted your knees. When you first begin to experience such issues you will need to determine the origin of the stiffness and pain.

If you have not been doing anything out of the ordinary and have began to experience a sore, stiff knee, then you may have a medical problem for which you may need to seek the assistance of a trained physician.

Why Am I Suffering From a Sore Stiff Knee?

That's a good question! - It could be due to several different factors.

For instance, if your knees are sore and stiff or pop and grind, then you could be suffering from patellofemoral syndrome, which is also more commonly known as "runner's knee."

Patellofemoral syndrome involves the grinding of bone caused by a misaligned kneecap that grates over the thighbone. Often times the kneecap can sublux laterally due instability of the patella. Do not let the syndromes slang name, "runner's knee" make you think that the syndrome is exclusive to athletes. Individuals who exert their knee through other means or are even "couch potatoes" can still be diagnosed with patellofemoral syndrome.

Tendonitis is another reason why people can complain of sore, stiff knees. This is an inflammation of the tendons that connect your kneecaps to your shinbones. Tendonitis can cause stiffness and soreness in the knees, making it very uncomfortable for the person who is dealing with it.

These are just a couple ways that you could be suffering from sore stiff knee discomfort. Actually, the stiff sensation that you may be feelin can simply be due to overuse.

How Can I Get Rid Of My Sore & Stiff Knee Pain?

There are a variety of medical related alternatives involving physical therapy and medications that could ease the stiffness in your knee (speak with your physician prior to taking any medications). However, the most common and effective treatments can usually be done from the convenience of your home.

Simple rest and elevation of the knees can increase blood flow and can likewise ease the pain from stiffness.

In addition, individuals who have worn a knee brace when first experiencing stiffness of the knees have reported that their stiffness subsided or had simply gone away. A support for your knee can help promote a healing environment for your knee. This is because it helps to support the internal structures of the knee and it also can help to maintain proper alignment of the knee. On top of that a knee brace costs pennies on the dollar and is one the simplest methods of putting an end to sore, stiff knee pain, especially compared to long term usage of pain medications or that of surgery.

Special Report On Bad Knee Cartilage - Brace Yourself For Pain Reduction

Bad knee cartilage makes no distinction between age or sex and can affect both young and older men and women. There are many reasons why you might have this condition. It can be caused by a sports injury, or just from the wear and tear on the joint over the years.

1.) How is Bad Knee Cartilage Diagnosed?

If you are suffering from painful knees, it is important that you should go to an orthopedic surgeon or other qualified physician, who will be able to make a proper diagnosis after examining your knee X-Rays. Pain in the knees can be caused by a number of different factors and it is important to pinpoint the cause before the appropriate treatment can be recommended. Self-diagnosis followed by the wrong course of self-treatment could actually worsen the pain.

2.) What Are Some Things You Can Do To Help Treat Bad Knee Cartilage?

Surgery is an option for bad knee cartilage, although it is not the only option. The type of surgery that your doctor will recommend depends on how badly the cartilage has been damaged. The process can be very helpful but a recovery time will be required, and the procedure may be costly.

3.) Can Medication Help?

Many doctors will prescribe medication for the pain that is associated with this condition, although this is only a temporary fix. Doctors today are aware of the addictive qualities of pain medications and are not always eager to prescribe them.

4.) Are There Positive Results From Using A Knee Brace?

Knee braces for support and to help maintain proper alignment can also be used with a lot of positive results. If your pain is triggered by moving excessively at the knee joint then these braces can act as a reminder for you. They can be acquired very quickly and can greatly reduce your knee pain due to the support that they can provide.

A.) Which activities can you still participate in with a knee brace?

When you are using a knee support, often times you are still allowed a wide range of motion, unless your physician forbids it. Excessive movements can be controlled, and may very well be in your favor to do so.

B.) Are knee braces really big and hard to wear?

A knee support is something that you will need to wear to enjoy the benefits of its use. It will inevitably take up a small amount of space, like anything else you put on your body, but many low profile styles and designs do exist today. If you think about it, knee brace companies probably would have been out of business a long time ago if everyone thought they were "big and bulky".

If you are suffering from a bad knee cartilage, the treatment that you choose depends on your lifestyle and how active you want to be. You can choose to get surgery on your knee or use a knee brace to help stop the pain and to help allow you to enjoy your every day activities.

Knee Pain and Running : How To Avoid Knee Issues When You Jog - Dealing With A Hurt Knee

A hurt knee running outdoors is a common injury. While running outdoors offers you excellent health benefits in addition to the wonderful feeling of the wind in your face, it is also an activity that is prone to the most hurt knees. If you get a hurt knee while running, there are several different treatment plans that you can follow.

The treatment options that you choose will depend on the immediate cause of the hurt knee:

Is it a Torn Ligament?

Many times, a torn ligament can be the reason why you have knee problems when you run. While runners commonly have knee problems, this does not mean it should become a life sentence for you either! Your physician may only tell you to rest your knee. There are occasions when surgery is not avoidable, however you can also use a low profile kne brace as a conservative approach, when possible.

Do you suffer from Osteoarthritis?

Although not life threatening, this is an incurable condition and is usually treated by a doctor with the use of non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (speak with your physician about your particular situation). These drugs can help contain the swelling that is usually associated with osteoarthritis of the knee. Unlike a torn ligament, which calls for a period of rest, if the knee pain is due to osteoarthritis it is sometimes far better to keep moving and exercising to prevent the knee from becoming rigid. Wearing a knee brace while moving will support your knees and help you to maintain proper alignment; thus staving off the pain and rapid degeneration of the knee. (It is important to speak with your doctor about your activity levels, of course.)

Is it Due to Rheumatoid Arthritis?

If you get a hurt knee running, it can also be a sign of rheumatoid arthritis. This condition does not have a cure yet, and can affect people of all ages. It usually presents with pain and swelling and in some cases, a fever. This is an auto immune disorder and is different than other types of arthritis. However, you do not have to just sit there and succumb to the numbing pain of rheumatoid arthritis. Your physician can provide you with some "pain killers" to help you deal with your discomfort and a well designed knee supoprt can also help reduce pain due to the stability that it can provide.

When to Seek Knee Surgery

If you are consistently bothered by knee trouble, you may be a candidate for knee surgery. However, knee surgery should only be attempted when all conservative methods of treating the knee have failed. Using over the counter medication, anti-inflammatory drugs and even a knee brace can help keep your knee feeling fine and can sometimes even prevent you getting a hurt knee running or walking.

Many cases of a hurt knee are the result of a torn ligament. To protect your knees whilst running, you should wear a knee brace and also make sure you warm up sufficiently so that your joints are warm and limber before you set out at full throttle.

Stiff Knee Remedy - Secrets To Knee Recovery When You Have Pain

Are you having trouble with your knees currently?

At the conclusion of this free information there will be a section that provides a link, if you would like to learn how to get the best knee brace for your needs. The link has the word "brace" in it. - But for now, lets talk about your knee and how you can help it with or without a brace.

Basic Factors Your Physician Will Consider

The basic factors that a doctor will consider when deciding on the right stiff or hurt knee remedy include the following:

1.) Your age

2.) The reason for the stiff knee

3.) The severity of the condition

4.) Your general health

5.) Your weight

6.) Future use of the knee

Obviously, the knee remedy for an 80 year old person will not be the same as it is for a 20 year old athlete. A full examination, the cause of the condition as well as the other above factors should figure in to the stiff knee remedy.

Your Age and How it Affects your Knee Treatment

Osteoarthritis is one of the most common conditions of a stiff knee and is not a disease that only strikes older people, contrary to popular belief. If the cause of the stiff knee is OA (osteoarthritis) and the person is a young person in good health, knee surgery may be considered.

The use of a knee support as a conservative treatment method may be employed to help stop further breakdown of the knee's structural anatomy. Moreover, treating knee pain and other knee issues with the use of knee brace has shown positive results, without having surgery. Sometimes these knee supports are the key to keeping you away from the surgical intensive care unit after an invasive procedure.

How The Reason for the Stiff Knee Affects Treatment

If the cause of the stiff knee is a condition such as rheumatoid arthritis, then knee surgery is not always an option. If the cause is due to a torn ligament or cartilage, the treatment will usually follow a more conservative approach with knee surgery being the last option.

Why the Severity of the Condition Affects the Choice of Treatment

In addition to the above, the severity of the condition will greatly impact the stiff knee remedy. If the knee ailment has gotten to the point where you can no longer ambulate (walk) without pain, then your physician will most likely take a more assertive approach toward your treatment.

How General Health and Weight Relate to Treatment

An individual who is in good general health and maintains a healthy weight has a better chance of responding positively to any type of medical treatment for a stiff knee. A person who is obese and in bad health will probably not respond as well. Simple, right? If you are in good health and want to avoid surgery, you will probably do well using a knee brace and taking anti-inflammatory medication to control the stiff knee (speak with your physician about pain medications prior to use).

Future Use of the Knee

A stiff knee can be one of the first signs of arthritis or future knee problems. Using a knee support, watching your weight and getting proper exercise are some of the ways you can help avoid these issues.

Templar Arthritis Explained

You may hear someone complain of being diagnosed with templar arthritis and have wondered how this is possible. After all, the only joint in the temple itself is the fused type composed of skull bones. Most likely, this person is complaining of a condition called "temporal arthritis" which affects blood vessels, not the bones and joints. The other possibility is that their arthritis may have affected the TMJ or temporal-mandibular joint. These are very different conditions and have different treatments and symptoms.

True templar arthritis would better be called temporal arthritis or most likely TMJ arthritis. The TMJ is where the large lower jaw attaches to the skull with a hinge-like joint. The main symptom would be jaw pain and evidence on x-rays of degenerative changes in that joint. TMJ syndrome can also exist with pain but no degenerative changes. This is treated with surgery or dental appliances, physical therapy, analgesics and sometimes anti-inflammatory drugs. With TMJ arthritis, the type of arthritis needs to be diagnosed to arrive at a treatment plan. TMJ arthritis can result from infection, injury or a systemic arthritic process.

Temporal arthritis (TA) is a more serious condition because it can progress to vision loss in some cases. Some estimate as many as half of TA patients will have vision loss eventually. The condition is also called giant cell arthritis from the appearance of the cells that infiltrate the walls of medium sized blood vessels throughout the circulatory system. The temporal artery is such a vessel and in TA it and surrounding vessels become swollen and very painful. Headache is the most common symptom, but there can also be symptoms such as low grade fever, claudication of the jaw, and even signs of meningitis.

TA is four to six times more common in women that in men and more common in Caucasians than in other races. It also occurs more often in colder climates. Along with pain and the high risk of vision loss is the associated risk of aneurysms elsewhere in the body. People with TA have 17 times the risk of chest aneurysms and double the risk of abdominal aneurysms. This condition is normally seen after the age of 50 with the average age of onset being closer to 70 years old.

Treatment is usually successful if started as soon as possible and consists of the use of steroids such as prednisone or Medrol or immune suppressants like azathioprine and methotrexate. Maintenance therapy is usually needed for at least a year or two. For some reason, the condition usually goes away after a couple of years. Prompt treatment relieves the pain and helps to prevent blindness.

3 Tips to help Decrease Bleeding during Menstrual Cycle

Copyright (c) 2008 Hope Pope

Every month, many women suffer with heavy bleeding from their monthly menstrual period. Sometimes the heavy bleeding can be because of fibroids. Although fibroids are quite common, many times, the doctors won't remove them. The consequence is that many women will suffer each month with excessive bleeding.

Heavy bleeding can be somewhat manageable when a woman doesn't have any children but adding children to the equation makes it even more difficult to deal with this each month. Every bit of energy is needed to take care of the kids and dealing with heavy bleeding is something every woman can do without.

Here are 3 tips that can help slow down heavy bleeding and also give women more energy when they need it most.

The first tip is to cut back on sugar. If sugar is cut out completely ... at least during the first few days of the period... This should slow down the menstrual period bleeding and not remove so much energy from the body.

The second tip is to exercise. Exercise seems to slow down excessive bleeding... plus, it will increase oxygen to the brain and provide the body with more energy. The problem with this is that when kids are involved, there is not much time to exercise... therefore, the third tip might be the most desirable.

Tip number three is to drink raw apple cider vinegar. This is a solution that is proven to work to slow down the bleeding associated with menstrual cycles. It is especially great when a woman has to be out in public and it is her 2nd or 3rd day of her period... when most women bleed the most... and she just doesn't want to be embarrassed by being in the bathroom the whole time.

Add one tablespoon of vinegar to about 16 to 20 ounces of water and drink it throughout the day. If the bleeding is extra heavy, drink two glasses of water with 1 tablespoon of raw (must be "raw". Braggs raw apple cider vinegar is awesome) apple cider vinegar a day.

Some people can't stomach the taste of the vinegar, so instead, put it in a glass of apple juice (preferably sugar-free) or grape juice and drink it that way... to hide the strong taste.

The amount of pads or tampons should increase a great deal after driking the vinegar for only one or two days... and it is not uncommon to go through only a pad or two after the 3rd day of the period. When vinegar is first used, don't be surprised if more clots are discharged as the body might experience some detoxification. This is normal. This is a good thing as it is cleaning things out... detoxifying the system.

An added bonus? Taking apple cider vinegar on a daily basis is proven to increase ones energy.

Are You a Giver or a Taker?

Are you a giver or a taker in relationships? (Go ahead and decide your answer, I will wait....)

Got it? Great!

Now, for the next question. Which one SHOULD you be?

That was actually a trick question. Sorry to do that to you, but stay with me here.

The correct answer is: neither one.

You should be GIVING and TAKING. Think of it as a bank account. You put things in there on a regular basis, then you take things out when you need them. Because you are always adding to what's in the account, there will always be something in there and the account will never be empty. Relationships work on the same basic principle.

I know this is a very simplistic way of looking at it, but it sort of pares it all down and makes it very clear at the same time.

Every relationship should have a combination of give and take ON BOTH SIDES of the relationship. When one person does most of the giving and the other person does most of the taking, it is a recipe for disaster. This type of situation usually leads to resentment because one person is not getting their emotional needs met (and possibly other needs as well).

No person wants to feel unappreciated or taken advantage of, but that's what a constant giver feels like. (If you are a constant giver, then you know what I mean.)

We all become accustomed to behavior patterns that we establish in our relationships, whether they are healthy or not. (He always does this, so she always does that.)

In essence, you are both responsible for the way things work in your relationship. It doesn't matter if you are the dominate person or if your partner is the dominate one.

Let me give you a personal example. After our children were born, my life became wrapped up in the kids and our family life. It seemed like every minute of every day consisted of taking care of kids, cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. As they got older I added chauffeur to my resume. It didn't help that during this time we were adding on to our house and remodeling two other homes. I felt so stretched that I literally couldn't function anymore.

But here's the thing. The kids didn't mean to take up my life. They didn't even realize they were doing it. When my husband put so many duties on me that were related to construction and remodeling, he didn't realize it was more than I could handle. He didn't realize so much was being taken from me. For my part, I continued to do more than I was capable of, and I didn't put my foot down. I allowed the situation to manifest and continue without change for a long time.

So here is how I finally handled my situation and got everything back in balance:

1) I talked to my husband about my issues and how I was feeling.

2) I set some boundaries on my time and energy.

3) I reevaluated things I was doing for the kids and decided some were not necessary and didn't really enhance their lives. I found better ways to use my time and energy to benefit them the most.

4) I started making sure that my husband and I got our date nights on a regular basis.

5) I established a monthly girls' night out with my friends.

6) I helped my husband understand that I needed some time alone to work without interruption (mostly on this site).

7) I stopped pushing things aside that were important to me.

Number 7 really sums up the whole thing. I remembered that I needed a life too. I was constantly putting things in (family life), but I was never taking anything out for myself.

Suddenly, it was clear what I needed to do. For example, I started shopping for myself again. And I understood that did not make me a bad mom. I started making plans to do things that I enjoyed (like before we had kids). And you know what? Our whole family is happier for it. I am a better wife and mother. And now my husband realizes how much he was taking and demanding of me. It was never his intention.

Now, let's look at you. It might be good to sit down and make a list of ways that you give and ways that you take. Maybe your partner could do this as well, then you can compare lists. You can learn amazing things about each other when you do this. Two people can live under the same roof but still not see things in the same light.

If You Are the Giver.....

It is imperative that you get a balance that is more equal because your relationship can only be healthy if you do. In my case I had an innocent husband and kids who didn't mean to take so much and suck me dry. However, there are situations where the other person is aware of what they are taking and do it on purpose because they can.

This is a more serious situation and is beyond the scope of this article. I would suggest counseling to help put things into perspective for both of you if you are in this situation. Many churches and employers offer this service for free

However, the majority of people will be able to establish a healthy balance by talking to their partner and setting boundaries as I did. Sit down with your partner and tell them exactly what you need to feel like your relationship is more balanced. "I need you to spend more time with me," is a good thing to point out, but it would be better to say,"I would like it if you could set aside every Wednesday night to spend with me." Don't be afraid to get specific about what you need. You will get better results if you offer up your expectations.

If You Are the Taker.......

If you take stock and find that you are the taker in your relationship, first understand it does not automatically make you a bad guy. This is just one part of your relationship and it can be changed at your will.

Also, you may have been playing off cues from your partner and not realizing that you were stepping over the line and tipping the balance of your relationship. Like I said before, we all get accustomed to familiar patterns in our relationships and repeat them without even thinking them through.

For example, if your partner says, "I don't mind fixing dinner," then you may agree to that every night. But they might now want to fix dinner every night and they may either do it because they think you won't (or they might be attempting to get an offer from you).

Being aware of the problem is half the solution. Now, the best course of action would be to sit down with your partner and ask them to list specific ways that you can "give" to their happiness and the relationship in general.

Remember, anything can be changed when you really want to change it.

Sell eBooks on eBay? You must Have an eBay Store.

I frequently get asked if owning an eBay store is worth the fees eBay charge. I personally think if you are serious about your eBay business owning an eBay store is a must and in this article I will try and explain why.

1. Owning an eBay store gives you your own unique URL to promote.

Having your own link to promote means you can promote your eBay store from your auctions, about me page, email signatures, forum signatures, blogs, articles, eBooks, newsletters etc etc.

2. You look more professional.

If you look like a professional seller you will sell more. Obviously a lot of factors count to looking professional such as excellent feedback but having an eBay store adds to the professional look. Also, a fully stocked eBay store gives you a professional look and with eBooks this is easily achieved at low cost.

3. You can sell multiple store items for a few cents per month.

That's right, you can list an eBook with a 1000 items available and this can cost only a few cents per month. You could actually list 1000 items in your eBay store and this would cost less than $30 per month. The minimum price to do this with 1000 auctions would be almost 10 times the expense.

4. You get to send out store newsletters.

Yes, you can build your own eBay subscriber database. Every time someone leaves feedback for you on eBay they get asked if they would like you to be added to their favourite sellers list. If they accept they can also subscribe to your store newsletter. This means you can send out mailings to your past customers. Plus you can also set up eBay to send out regular mailings on your behalf every 2 weeks.

There is also the option to add a link to your store newsletter and store favourites in all your auctions. This is a crucial promotion tool eBay provides, just look at the top right corner of any of my listings to see these links in action. This means you can add people to your eBay mailing list even if they don't initially buy from you.

5. You can 'feature' your most profitable items.

By putting your most popular items in the featured section of your eBay store you are gaining maximum exposure for the items that make you the most money.

6. You can personalise your eBay store to differ yourself from other eBay users.

With a little HTML experience you can add categories, logo's, graphics, pictures and a lot more to give your eBay store a more personalised, professional look. Even if you are not familiar with HTML you can still create an attractive looking eBay store.

7. You can track traffic and sales.

Depending on your store subscription level you can track a whole host of features such as store traffic, your most viewed items, search terms used in your store, where your visitors came from and a lot lot more.

8. You can link to your store from all your auctions.

If you use all the tools eBay provides you can have up to 10 links to your eBay store from every auction you run. Without an eBay store you can have 3 or 4 links at the most linking to your other items.

9. Your store and store items will appear in the major search engines.

Google 'planetsms' and you will see number one is my website and number 2 is my eBay store. You can add keywords to your eBay store and there is also more chance of your listings showing on google. In fact if you search Google for the term 'planetsms eBook collection' or even just 'eBook collection' you will see both search terms are on the 1st page of Google :-)

10. You get to say 'visit my eBay store'.

Sounds silly doesn't it? Well get more visitors to your eBay store and you will sell more and that's a fact no one can deny. You can ask people to visit your store in your auctions, about me page, email signatures, forum signatures, blogs, articles, eBooks, newsletters :-) etc etc etc.

There you go, 10 reasons why you should have an eBay store. I have probably missed out a lot more and maybe even some more important reasons why you should have an eBay store but I'm sure you get the picture.

10 Top Compound Exercises to Blast Fat and Build Lean Muscle

Years ago I found myself weighing 250 pounds, constantly squeezing rolls of fat on my stomach, and just all around unhappy with myself in the mirror. Personally, I know what it feels like to suck your stomach in and wonder what it would be like to be shredded. Now, my job as a fat loss and fitness expert allows me to use my empathy and knowledge to train numerous clients and help them achieve unbelievable success in reaching their target body in my boot camps. It takes a lot of work and a lot of training. It has been proven again and again, the best training program for fat loss and lean muscle gain activates as many muscle groups of the total body in the shortest amount of time. While interval training is hands down the best protocol to use during an exercise session to build muscle and lose fat, compound movements efficiently provide total body workouts and give you an amazing boom for your buck in a single exercise.

Compound movements or combination lifts combine two or more movements performed uninterrupted and in succession into one exercise. For example, take two familiar exercises. The squat, which is notorious for its fat blasting and lean muscle packing effects. Now throw in an overhead press and the squat/press compound includes even more of your total body and becomes downright merciless. Simply put, compound movements explosively burn fat and build lean muscle because they activate more muscle in a shorter amount of time. Prioritize your personal workouts with compound movements like these instead of single joint exercises to supposedly "isolate a muscle" and your good to go. Remember this Power Body Reaction:

↑Muscles Involved"(↑Calories Burnt + ↑Muscle-Building Stimulus )"↑Fat Lost + ↑Muscle Gain

Confession time. I have a love-hate relationship with exercises like this. Love because of the ridiculous results they provide for fat loss, muscle building, and conditioning. Hate because they turn on that voice in my head saying, "Do you really need to do this?" and wondering whether I'm laying in a pool of sweat or tears every time.

By now your saying "Get on with it. I'm sold. What are these crazy exercises I need to be doing right now!?" Let's lift veil of suspense. Here is my official top 10 list of favorite exercises in the world for fat loss and lean muscle gain (in no particular order):

Exercise 1 - Power Clean + Thruster Combo - Kettlebells, Dumbbells, Bands, or Sandbags

Exercise 2 - The Swing - Kettlebells, Dumbbells, Med Balls, or Sandbags

Exercise 3 - Alternating Lunge + Curl to Press

Exercise 4 - Mountain Climber Push-ups - Valslide or Bodyweight

Exercise 5 - Woodchopper - Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Med Balls, Bands, or Sandbags

Exercise 6 - Kettlebell or Dumbbell Snatches

Exercise 7 - Turkish Get-Up + One-Arm Dumbbell Chest Press

Exercise 8 - Burpee with Overhead Press

Exercise 9 - Med Ball Snatch-Slam Combo

Exercise 10 - Single-Leg RDL + Row - Kettlebell or Dumbbell

Use my advice jack up your training by introducing these 10 powerful compound exercises we use in my boot camps to work the total body. You are guaranteed better results in less time by consistently employing these movements into your workouts. Of course it's ultimately up to you to do what it takes to take your training and your body to the next level!
